Job Description

Afinta Part is searching for an Admin Clerk to join the branch in Nelspruit. The purpose of this position is to among others, welcoming customers, assist them with payment queries, and providing advice or recommendations. The successful incumbent will also assist with receivable duties including ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming receipts, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts as well as ensuring proper filling is kept at the branch. 

Key Performance Indicators will include, but not limited to; 

Receipt of Payments

  1. Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer
  2. Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving queries

Receiving monies from customers

  1. Operating scanners, cash registers, and other EFT electronics
  2. Phone Debtors to follow up on payments not yet received
  3. AGL270 needs to be updated on daily basis, there shouldn’t be invoices more than 3 days

Daily cash up

  1. Daily cash up and reconciliation and review by Branch Manager
  2. Concealing cash in envelopes ensuring safe transport when transferred to bank.


  1. Balancing the cash register and generating ELCB reports for credit and debit sales for both cash office and drivers trip sheets delivery notes
  2. Maintaining a clean workspace.
  3. Ensure new COD accounts are opened by debtor’s department at Jetpark and facilitated at the branch
  4. Asking for remittances to match monies received from debtor


  • Matric 
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Honest and reliable 
  • Meticulous 
  • Comfortable handling cash and opening accounts 
  • Great communication skills 
  • Clear ITC & Criminal record
