Applications are invited for the HR Assistant position to be based in East London or Eastern Region
The HR Assistant will be focused on providing support and assistance to the Regional HR Business Partner HRBPs in delivering HR services to the leadership and employees in the regions.
Human Resources,ICT – Information & Communications Technology,IT – Information Technology,Telecommunications
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
1. General Support and Administration
•Providing advice to leaders and employees regarding HR related queries and company policies.
•Compiling information for reporting.
•Processing transactions on the HR/Payroll systems and maintaining updated and correct employee records.
•Assist with HR initiatives such as newsletters and employee value of the month nominations.
•Attending to correspondence with internal and external parties.
•Scheduling and co-ordinating of meetings.
•Maintain employee and departmental records.
2.Recruitment and onboarding
•Post job advertisements.
•Schedule interviews and draft candidate feedback.
•Conduct background and reference checks and ensure that any required medicals. and HSE training is arranged.
•Prepare employment offers and contracts.
•Attend to onboarding processes for new employees.
•Preparing new employee files and records.
3.Training and Development
•Support, including scheduling and co-ordinating training and assisting with training reporting and planning.
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills: –
•Verbal and written communication
•Attention to detail
•Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR support role.
•Qualification in Human Resources advantageous.
